The Consultation

When first meeting with a Chinese Medicine Practitioner, you would have had an opportunity to fill out a medical history form to help shorten the visit.  Traditional Chinese Medicine uses a combination of asking questions about one's health, feeling a person's radial pulse to gauge what's happening inside the body, inspecting the tongue, ear, and other parts of the body to gather information.   A typical first consultation would take twenty to thirty minutes for our practitioners to come to a diagnostic conclusion and to develop a treatment strategy that's unique to the patient's needs and goals.  The Chinese herbal medicine would then be compounded at our pharmacy, and mailed out to the patient.
